Dear Friends,
I’ve been given the title hero, but I haven’t done anything to earn that title. Together, you and me, heartened the real heroes of Chai Lifeline, the children battling cancer and other illness. Last August, thanks to your support, I cycled 100 miles on the most amazing bike ride for the kids of Camp Simcha. And thanks to your generosity I was able to dedicate over $12,000 in memory of my father Yosef Zvi Klein ה'ע, who was a five-time Bike4Chai rider.

This summer, I am excited to cycle again to benefit more than 5,900 heroic kids and their families. Every mile I ride and every dollar I raise will help support more than two-dozen essential programs supporting those confronting pediatric illness, crisis, and loss; including counseling and case management, transportation to medical appointments, emergency financial assistance, insurance advocacy, Big Brothers/Sisters, and Camp Simcha, Chai Lifeline’s flagship medically supervised summer program.

Life for a child with cancer, disability, or other serious illness is grueling. From the moment of diagnosis, Chai Lifeline’s dedicated staff and volunteers are there to provide joy, hope, and unparalleled care throughout the turbulent medical journey.

On July 29, 2021, I look forward to wearing the famous bright blue Bike4Chai jersey decked with my late father’s bib #635 and ride another 100 exhilarating miles. This year the route will take me on a loop from Vernon, NJ stopping midway at Camp Simcha. My objective is to raise $5,000, and I hope you will help me reach this goal.
