Gavriel Soltan

12 years ago my oldest son was diagnosed with LCH. Thankfully he is doing amazing now.
Little did we know we would spend the next 2.5 year in hospitals, going through treatments, running to doctors appointments and scans.
Through it all Chai Lifeline was there, sending suppers, volunteers to play with the kids or just visit, rides to and from hospitals and appointments, weekends geared amazingly to help us cope and support each other. You name it, they were there to help out.
To top it off they have this amazing camp, Camp Simcha which gives terminally and chronically ill patients as well as special needs children, a chance and a place to shine. Just search Camp Simcha on Youtube but be prepared with some tissues. (sample - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rFui07U054)
To keep this amazing organization running, I have tried to give back as much as I can by riding in Bike4Chai and raising a small drop of the much needed funds.
