Dear Beautiful people,

I dedicate this ride not only to the thousands of families ChaiLifeline Supports through financial assistance for hospital bills, feeding the poor, and supporting the ill-spirited but also to Three very special neshamot (Souls):

1 - The l'ilui nishmat, (Elevation of the soul) for a dear Holocaust survivor that recently passed away who spent the majority of his life helping educate Jews, and gain support from other nations in order to avoid another holocaust: Irving Roth (Moshe ben Adele)

2- The l'ilui nishmat, (Elevation of the soul) Of rabbi Menashe, (Ya'aqob Eliyahu ben Rachel) who radiated happiness, and Loved every Jew regardless of their religious affiliation. This was a tangible love that was felt by everyone who had the honor of meeting him.

3 - The Refuah sh'leimah (Complete Recovery) of a dear family member: Batsheva Leah Bat Chana.

If you decide to donate, please have these special people in mind when giving.

I want to start with a story...
In the Oral Law (Gemara) It was told to Rabbi Akiva that on the same day that his daughter enters the wedding canopy, a snake will bite her and she will die. She was very worried about this. On that day, her wedding day, she took the ornamental pin from her hair and stuck it into a hole in the wall for safekeeping, and it happened that it entered directly into the eye of the snake. In the morning, when she took the pin, the snake was pulled and came out with it. Her father Rabbi Akiva said to her: What did you do to merit being saved from the snake? She told him: In the evening a poor person came and knocked on the door, and everyone was preoccupied with the feast and nobody heard him. I stood and took the portion that you had given me and gave it to him. Rabbi Akiva said to her: You performed a mitzvah, and you were saved in its merit. Rabbi Akiva went out and taught based on this incident that even though it is written: “And charity will save from death” (Proverbs 10:2), it does not mean that it will save a person only from an unusual death, but even from death itself.

We see from this story how powerful giving Charity can be! By giving to others, we emulate God and bring him closer to our lives. I pray that every one of you merits becoming closer to know yourself and your creator. Doing acts of kindness to your family, and friends are even bigger than Charity. In Pirke Avos (1:2) it says "the world stands on three pillars: Torah, Acts of service, and Acts of kindness." Kindness is what the world stands on.
God willing, we should be successful in uplifting this world. Please open your hearts to this wonderful cause. Change starts within us

I appreciate you being a part of my team Thank you!

Please give according to your means as the Torah says Deuteronomy 16:17 — "Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the L-rd you G-d that He has given thee".
