Dear Friend,

For those who already donated to my campaign!
Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!

It is MUCH appreciated. Your generosity, support and love means the world to me and the work we do for chai. Thank you for helping us fight illness with love.

For those who didn’t yet get a chance to, please read below ride starts this morning.

Most of you are expecting this annual email and some of you are hopefully even waiting for it so here it is.

In just 2 weeks, on July 29th I will once again be challenging myself to ride 130km and climbing 1600+ meters in the Laurentian mountains, for Bike4Chai Canada, our annual fundraiser to raise much needed funds to benefit Chai Lifeline Canada.

Covid-19 has made our work significantly more challenging, but more relevant than ever.

A lot of our sick kids and their families are still home bound, and where most of us went back to day to day living, they sadly have not.

Camp Simcha is back in full swing and we were fortunate to have sent some of the Canadian kids.
As well, we are running individualized family backyard summer camps, tailor made for each child and their family, in a safe environment.

Our goal for Bike For Chai is to raise $500,000 for Chai Lifeline Canada. These funds will support the vital work that we do, every single day, with no compromise.

On a personal level, I have thank G-d, good news to share. My younger brother, who I donated my bone marrow to last year, is cancer free and doing great!

As well, my nephew who had leukemia two years ago, and attended Camp Simcha as a camper is doing well and is currently back in Camp Simcha as a staff member!

My daughter just returned from her 3 week experience as a lifeguard / rotator in Camp Simcha. She wrote us the following letter.

I am reaching out to you, my friends and supporters, for your generosity. I beg you to dig deep, so that no sick child or family will be left to suffer through serious illness alone.

"Giving is not about making a donation. It is about making a difference."

Please help me achieve my personal goal of raising $150,000 so that the incredible work of Chai Lifeline can continue, allowing more kids to be kids again and helping us fight illness with love. Every dollar I raise will be doubled by a fellow rider.

All donations are 100% tax deductible in both Canada and the USA. You can also let me know your pledge and we can invoice you.
