Bike 4 Chai is an incredible event. Its a 1 day 100 mile bike ride through the mountains of western NJ and the Catskills .The proceeds go to support Camp Simcha, a respite for children who have been afflicted with cancer.
I'd been considering this ride for a while, but the task seemed daunting .The decision was made for me when I learned my father had been diagnosed with a rare T-Cell lymphoma several months ago..as I've been watching him fight and climb what seem to be insurmountable hills and mountains , I got a tiny window into what these kids must be going through..
I dedicate this ride to the refuah shelimah of yosef yehuda ben nechama , and to all the brave little warriors that climb these hills every day
